Coltvet paces Hawks at Gans Creek Classic

Cassie Coltvet led the Hawks with a 32nd-place finish.

The Rockhurst women's cross country team finished in eighth place at the Gans Creek Classic Friday in Columbia, Missouri.

The Hawks were led by Cassie Coltvet over the six-kilometer course. Coltvet finished in 32nd place with a time of 24:11.5.

Marianna Donze finished 35th in 24:18.1 and Faith Fritschle followed in 39th place in 24:22.8. Rounding out the Hawks' top eight runners was Lauren DeWitt (48th, 24:40.6), Sage Holmes (51st, 24:45.1), Cara Super (53rd, 24:49.2), Molly Morris (54th, 24:54.8), and Jillian Vaughn (57th, 25:02.6).
