Hawks earn pair of All-GLVC First Team awards

Jack Eisenbarger has a 9-1 record and 95 strikeouts.

Rockhurst's Jack Eisenbarger and Tyler Stamer earned postseason honors from the Great Lakes Valley Conference Wednesday night. The two seniors were both named to the All-GLVC First Team.

Eisenbarger leads the GLVC in victories and complete games. He has a 9-1 record and a 2.87 ERA with 95 strikeouts in 69 innings pitched.

Stamer leads the Hawks with a .379 batting average, 32 runs scored, seven home runs, 26 RBIs and 80 total bases.

Senior outfielder Tommy Kraus is Rockhurst's GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award individual nominee. The student-athletes chosen are individuals who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting.

The Hawks (23-17, 20-16 GLVC) will face Indiananpolis in the first round of the GLVC Tournament at 9 a.m. Thursday in St Charles, Missouri.
