The Rockhurst women's cross country team captured the team title at the Cottey College Invitational Saturday in Nevada, Missouri.
The Hawks finished with 18 points as their top five runners finished in the top seven.
Junior
Hannah Schaefer won the individual crown in a time of 19:23.07 over five kilometers. Sophomore
Emily Dickson finished second in 19:28.72, followed by senior
Sarah Harig in third place in 19:49.23.
Maggie Moyer (fifth, 19:54.04) and
Lauren DeWitt (seventh, 20:28.11) rounded out the top five finishers for Rockhurst.
Kathleen Gansner,
Ellan Harder,
Carmen Macias,
Mallory Dittemore and
Maggie Witt also finished in the top 20.
The Hawks will next compete in the Southern Stampede on Sept. 21 in Joplin, Missouri.
