For the second week in a row, Rockhurst's Emily Truitt has been selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week in softball, the Conference office announced Monday.

The senior outfielder led Rockhurst with a .533 batting average (8-for-15), one triple, two home runs and eight RBIs with just one strikeout in four games. She slugged 1.067 with an on-base percentage of .588 and 16 total bases in 17 plate appearances.

Truitt hit a game-winning, three-run home run in the fifth inning at Missouri Southern last Friday. She also went 5-for-9 with four runs scored and three RBIs in a doubleheader sweep at Southwest Baptist on Feb. 26.
