Eisenbarger named GLVC Pitcher of the Week

Jack Eisenbarger threw the first no-hitter in school history with 10 strikeouts and three walks in 7.0 innings.

Rockhurst junior pitcher Jack Eisenbarger has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week in the sport of baseball, it was announced by the league office Monday.

Eisenbarger threw the first no-hitter in school history with 10 strikeouts and three walks in 7.0 innings pitched in a 2-0 win over Bemidji State last Friday in Fort Scott, Kansas. He retired the side in order in the second, fourth and seventh innings. He also struck out the side in the first inning.

This is Eisenbarger's first career Player of the Week award. The last Rockhurst player to be named GLVC Pitcher of the Week was Joe Huber in February of 2017.
