Hawks finish 17th at NCAA Midwest Regional

Emily Dickson (198) and Sarah Harig (202) led the Hawks at the NCAA Midwest Regionals in Evansville, Indiana.

The Rockhurst women's cross country team finished in 17th place at the NCAA Midwest Regional Saturday at the Angel Mounds course in Evansville, Indiana.

Emily Dickson led Rockhurst in 74th place with a school record time of 22:51.5 over the six-kilometer course. Sarah Harig was the Hawks' No. 2 runner in 83rd place with a 22:57.7 time. Maggie Moyer placed third for the Hawks in 98th place in 23:13.7.

Hannah Schaefer (128th, 23:49.7) and Ellan Harder (141st, 24:12.7) also finished among Rockhurst's top five finishers. Kathleen Gansner (151st) and Lauren DeWitt (171st) rounded out Rockhurst's seven runners.
