Unger, Riveros named to All-GLVC Tennis Team

Oskar Unger, left, and Nicolas Riveros were named to the All-GLVC Men's Tennis Team.

Rockhurst's Oskar Unger and Nicolas Riveros were selected to the 2018 All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Tennis Team by league coaches.

Unger, a senior from Bjarred, Sweden, is a four-time All-GLVC honoree. He posted a 10-10 overall record and a 4-2 mark in conference play in singles. In doubles play, Unger collected a 16-4 record overall and 5-1 mark in conference duals.

Riveros, a senior from Santiago, Chile, tallied a 10-8 overall record and a 3-2 mark in conference play in singles. In doubles play, Riveros collected a 2-2 record overall.

The Rockhurst men finished 14-6 in the regular season and placed fourth at 3-3 in the GLVC West. The Hawks will face Indianapolis in the first round of the conference's postseason tournament at 10 a.m. Friday (April 21) in Springfield, Missouri.
