Hawks blank Central Missouri, 6-0

Megan Freitag drove in four runs in a 6-0 win over Central Missouri.

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Megan Freitag drove in four runs on three hits to power Rockhurst to a 6-0 victory over Central Missouri in the Southeastern Regional Invitational Sunday in Durant, Oklahoma.

Freitag singled home two runs in the second inning and hit a two-run home run to center field in the fourth.
Madison Wagner, Hanna Stam and Emily Truitt each had two hits. Lauren Marks hit a solo home run to center field in the third and Truitt had an RBI single in the fifth.

Shannon Greene (3-1) blanked the Jennies on three hits with four strikeouts over seven innings.

Washburn posted a 5-2 win over Rockhurst on Sunday morning. Stam and Truitt each had two hits for the Hawks. Stam had a solo home run in the fourth and Truitt added an RBI single in the sixth. Greene took the loss, allowing five runs on eight hits.

The Hawks (3-3) will play in the Nashville Classic Feb. 17-18.
