The Rockhurst men's tennis team held to secure a 5-4 victory over McKendree on Sunday at the Milburn Country Club indoor courts.

The Hawks took a 2-1 lead after doubles play. Tarass Thevenaz and Patrick Cvik teamed up to win No. 1 doubles by an 8-5 score. Jonas Stropus and Oskar Unger captured No. 2 doubles, 8-4.

In singles play, Stropus posted a two-set win in No. 3 singles. Thevenaz won No. 4 singles in two sets and Nicolas Leon was a two-set winner in No. 6 singles.

The Hawks move to 4-2 on the season.
