The Rockhurst men's tennis team fell by a 7-2 score to William Woods on Sunday at the Loyola Park Tennis Courts.

William Woods took a 2-1 lead after doubles play. Rockhurst's Nicolas Riveros and Nicolas Leon teamed up to win No. 3 doubles by an 8-5 score.

In singles play, Leon posted a three-set win in No. 5 singles. Leon won the first set, 6-3, and captured the third set in a tie-breaker, 10-7. Oskar Unger (No. 1), Nicolas Riveros (No. 2) and Julien Burmudez (No. 6) each lost in a third set tie-breaker in singles.

The Hawks fall to 3-2 on the season.
