Box Score 2 Rockhurst posted two wins on the second day of the Southeastern Regional Invitational in Durant, Oklahoma. The Hawks opened the day with a 5-1 win over Oklahoma Christian and came back later in the day to defeat Missouri Southern, 7-4. The Hawks will play Central Oklahoma and Pittsburg State on the final day Sunday in Durant.

The Hawks scored four runs in the fifth inning.
Lauren Marks and Lexie Zuniga posted RBI singles.
Megan Freitag added a two-run single. Rockhurst scored an unearned run in the second.
Taylor Rupe had two of the Hawks' eight hits.
Bridgette Sappington (1-1) allowed three hits and no runs over the final five innings.

Rockhurst collected 13 hits off three Southern pitchers.
Kelsey Tepen had a team-high three hits.
Madison Wagner,
Hanna Stam, Rupe and Marks each tallied two hits. Stam tripled home two runs in the second. Marks hit a two-run home run in the sixth.
Shannon Greene (1-0) allowed four runs on eight hits over 5.2 innings. Sappington got the final four outs to get the save.
