Box Score Brett Marr collected two extra-base hits and drove in two runs to lead Rockhurst to a 2-1 victory over Wisconsin-Parkside Sunday in the final game of a three-game series in Jacksonville, Illinois.

Marr's run-scoring triple in the sixth gave the Hawks a 2-0 lead. He drove in Rockhurst's first run with a sacrifice fly in the first. Marr also doubled in the eighth as he went 2-for-2 at the plate.

David Stober added two hits to the seven-hit Rockhurst attack. Alex Merithew (2-0) allowed one run on three hits over 6.0 innings. Thomas Cargile pitched the final three innings to post his second save of the season.

The Hawks (4-4) travel to Florida this week to play six games in the Clearwater Invitational from March 10-15.
