Box Score 2 Southern Indiana held Rockhurst to one run on 11 hits in sweeping the Hawks, 2-1 and 5-0, in a conference doubleheader Saturday at Loyola Park.
The Screaming Eagles rallied to score two runs in the sixth to win the first game. The winning run was an unearned run following an RBI single with two outs.
Alex Hill drove in the Hawks' run in the fifth with a single down the right-field line.

Lonnie Groves opened the inning with back-to-back singles.
Bridgette Sappington (5-8) allowed two runs on seven hits over 7.0 innings.
Southern Indiana jumped out to a 2-0 in the first inning in the second game. The Eagles added another run in the third and scored two more runs in the seventh.
