Rockhurst men earn ITA All-Academic Team Award

Pawel Grzegrzolka is one of six Rockhurst men to earn ITA Scholar Athlete honors.
The Rockhurst University men's tennis team is one of five Great Lakes Valley Conference teams and one of 29 nationally in NCAA Division II to earn the ITA All-Academic Team Award, which is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above. All eligible student-athletes whose names appear on the NCAA eligibility form and have competed in one or more varsity match must average into the GPA for the current academic year.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.

Six members of the Rockhurst men's tennis team earned the right to be called ITA Scholar-Athletes: Pawel Grzegrzolka, Joey Fischer, Truit Gray, Decho Valev, Luke Chmielewski and Luke Salisbury.
