Box Score Top-seeded Indianapolis scored an unearned run in the 13th inning to edge Rockhurst, 1-0, in the opening round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Friday in East Peoria, Ill.
Indianapolis starter Morgan Foley held the Hawks to one hit while striking out an NCAA record-setting 30 batters. Foley struck out the first 10 batters she faced before issuing the first of three walks. She struck out at least two batters in 12 of the 13 innings, while striking out the side five times.

The eighth-seeded Hawks (21-28) will face William Jewell in an elimination game around 3 p.m. Friday. The winner will advance to a loser's bracket game on Saturday.
