Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Truman State combined for 20 hits in winning both ends of a doubleheader over Rockhurst, 6-2 and 7-1, Saturday at RU's Loyola Park.

The 21st-ranked Bulldogs jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the first game and added three runs in the sixth inning. Rockhurst scored in the second and fourth innings. Katelyn Bakey posted two of the Hawks' five hits. Bridgette Sappington (9-11) pitched six innings in the loss.

In the second game, Truman State scored six runs in the second to take a 6-0 lead. Liz Desloge hit her fourth home run of the season in the bottom of the second. Demi Plathe (3-8) took the loss.

The Hawks, 12-20 and 7-11 in the GLVC, host Quincy in a noon doubleheader on Sunday.
