Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Missouri S&T pounded out 13 hits in posting a 10-4 victory over Rockhurst in the second game of a conference doubleheader Friday night at RU's Loyola Park. The Lady Miners blanked the Hawks, 1-0, in the first game.

Rockhurst fell behind 6-0 in the second inning in Game 2. The Hawks rallied to score two runs in both the fourth and fifth innings. Katelyn Bakey and Alex Jacobson homered in the fourth. Baker and Alex Hill drove in runs in the fifth. Demi Plathe (5-11) took the loss.

In the first game, the Lady Miners scored in the third on an RBI double for their lone hit of the game. Bridgette Sappington (14-15) struck out four and walked three over seven innings.

The Hawks, 19-27 and 14-18 in the GLVC, close out their home schedule against Drury in a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday.
