The Rockhurst Hawks suffered a 7-2 loss at Missouri-St. Louis Saturday in their final conference dual match of the season. The Hawks (9-5, 3-1) will face Southern Indiana in the first round of the GLVC Tournament at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Louis.
Daniel Chmielewski and
Joey Fischer combined to win in No. 3 doubles by a 9-8 score. The Hawks lost the other two doubles matches, 8-5 and 8-3.
Luke Chmielewski captured his No. 4 singles match, 6-3, 6-2.
Daniel Chmielewski (No. 5) and
Decho Valev (No. 6) both lost in a third set tie-breaker.
