Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Senior third baseman Alex Jacobson homered twice and drove in five runs to lead Rockhurst to 2-1 and 10-0 victories over William Jewell Wednesday in Liberty, Mo.

Jacobson's solo home run in the fourth inning was the go-ahead run in the first game. Demi Plathe drove in the first run with an RBI single in the third. Bridgette Sappington and Plathe combined to hold Jewell to five hits.

In Game 2, the Hawks scored seven runs in the fifth inning to end the game after five innings. Jacobson homered in her sixth consecutive game while driving in four runs. Jacobson, Plathe and Rachel Evans each collected two hits. Hannah Pyle came off the bench to drive in two runs. Plathe (3-6) pitched the first three innings to get the win.

The Hawks, 11-15 and 6-6 in the GLVC, play a noon doubleheader at Maryville on Wednesday.
