Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Rockhurst pounded out 10 hits, including four extra base hits, in posting a 5-3 victory over Drury in the first game of a doubleheader Sunday in Springfield, Mo. Drury rallied for a 3-2 win the second game.

The Hawks scored three runs in the fifth behind run-scoring doubles from Liz Desloge and Nicole Adams. Alex Jacobson gave the Hawks a 2-1 lead in the third with her fifth home run of the season. Alex Hill led the way with three hits. Demi Plathe and Bridgette Sappington combined to hold Drury to seven hits.

In Game 2, the Panthers scored two runs in the seventh inning. Jacobson hit her second homer of the day to give the Hawks a 2-1 lead in the fifth. Plathe (2-6) took the loss.

The Hawks, 9-15 and 4-6 in the GLVC, play a noon doubleheader at William Jewell on Wednesday.
