The Rockhurst Hawks suffered their second loss of the season, falling to Missouri Valley 16-9 Saturday in Marshall, Mo.

Jack McDonough led the Hawks with three goals and one assist. McDonough scored two goals in the first period and tallied his third goal in the third period. He assisted on the Hawks' ninth goal.

Elijah Gaea posted two goals and two assists. Andy Tabor collected two goals and one assist. Peter Hummel added two goals to round out Rockhurst's goal scoring. The Hawks finished with 20 shots and 18 groundballs. Freshman goalkeeper Zach McGuff finished with 13 saves, including seven in the second period.
