First-half run carries Hawks past William Jewell

Rockhurst scored the first nine goals of the game on the way to a 14-8 victory over William Jewell Monday night at Bourke Field.

The Hawks jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first five minutes and scored five goals in the second quarter to take an 8-0 halftime lead. The Hawks (6-3) play at Indianapolis on Saturday.
