Hawks breeze to 3-0 win over Newman Jets

Katie Loescher posted 11 kills to lead Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over Newman Wednesday night at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House. Rockhurst rallied to win the first set, 25-18. The Hawks won the next two sets, 25-18 and 25-12.

Alyssa Arnold tallied nine kills and eight digs. Preecy Seever collected eight kills and five blocks. Anne Hellwege collected a team-high 24 digs. Lauren Poulicek added 21 digs. Whitney Kostal finished with 39 assists and six digs.

Rockhurst (18-3) will host Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday. The Hawks are 12-0 at home this season.
