Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Rockhurst rebounded from a game one loss to defeat Quincy 8-5 in the second game of a conference doubleheader on Saturday at RU's Loyola Park. Quincy posted an 8-2 win in the opening game.

Demi Plathe gave the Hawks a 2-1 lead with a two-run home run to left field in the first inning. Amanda Burger singled in two runs in the second. Natalie Johnson and Alex Jacobson added RBI singles in the sixth. Liz Desloge led Rockhurst with two hits. Sydney Fairfield went the distance to improve her record to 10-5.

In the first game, Quincy collected 14 hits off Fairfield and Plathe. Johnson and Jacobson hit solo homers in the sixth inning. The Hawks (17-10, 5-6 GLVC) host Illinois Springfield in a noon doubleheader on Sunday.
