Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Missouri-St. Louis held Rockhurst to five hits in sweeping the Hawks, 1-0 and 3-0, on Friday at RU's Loyola Park.

UMSL's Hannah Perryman struck out 16 Hawks to blank Rockhurst on two hits in the first game. Sydney Fairfield (7-3) allowed the only run in the seventh inning.

In the second game, UMSL scored once in the second and twice in the fifth. Amanda Burger posted two of Rockhurst's three hits. Demi Plathe (3-2) allowed eight hits in seven innings while striking out four.

The Hawks (12-7, 2-3 GLVC) host Maryville on Saturday in a noon doubleheader.
