Hawks selected as No. 4 seed in Midwest Regional

The Hawks won their first GLVC regular season championship
The Rockhurst men's basketball program received its fourth invitation to the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championships.

Fourth-seeded Rockhurst (23-6) will face fifth-seeded Northern Michigan (27-6) in the first round of the NCAA Midwest Regional on Saturday, March 14 at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio.

The 18th-ranked Hawks are returning to the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2009 and the first time under second-year head coach Kyle Blackbourn. Rockhurst won the GLVC regular season championship with a 17-3 conference record.

The eight regional champions will advance to the quarterfinals in conjunction with the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's Elite Eight. The quarterfinal and semifinal games will be held March 25 and 27 at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh.

The championship game will be contested on April 5 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis in conjunction with the NCAA Men's Final Four.
