Wesley earns Academic All-American honors

Jaylen Wesley averaged 21.6 points per game in his senior season

Jaylen Wesley was chosen to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America® Division II Men's Basketball First Team for his play on the court and work in the classroom.

The senior forward from Phoenix, Arizona posted a 3.65 GPA in Health Science. The Division II first team had a 3.84 average GPA.

Wesley helped the 24th-ranked Hawks return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2009 and win their first Great Lakes Valley Conference regular season championship. Wesley averaged 21.6 points per game, earning NABC and D2CCA All-American honors. He was also named the GLVC Player of the Year.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
