Wesley, Deaver earn Academic All-District honors

The Rockhurst men's basketball team placed two student-athletes on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team.

Jaylen Wesley earned his second Academic All-District® honor, while Micah Deaver is a first-year Academic All-District® honoree.

Wesley, a senior guard from Phoenix, Arizona, ranks 11th in scoring (21.6 pg) in Division II. The 2025-26 GLVC Player of the Year earned All-America honors from the NABC and the D2CCA this week.

Deaver, a sophomore guard from Olathe, Kansas, averaged 7.1 points and 3.0 rebounds while starting 17 games.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14.
