Marley Dunham delivered a historic performance for the Rockhurst women's golf team, breaking two individual school records as the Hawks established three program marks at the Bearcat Dual on Tuesday (Oct. 20) at Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, Illinois.

Dunham highlighted a record-setting final day for Rockhurst, firing a two-under-par 70 in the third round to break the program's single-round scoring record. The previous mark of 72 was held by Emma Mullendore during the 2021-22 season. Dunham's performance also secured a new school record for the lowest 54-hole individual score, finishing with a 221 (75-76-70) to tie for second place at five-over par.

Dunham also led the entire tournament field with 13 birdies across 54 holes, three more than any other competitor. She ranked second among all players in par-4 scoring, averaging 4.08 strokes, and finished one-under par on par-5 holes.

Audrey Smith continued Rockhurst's strong showing with a top-10 finish, placing 10th overall at 15-over par with a three-round total of 231. Smith saved her best round for Tuesday, shooting a three-over-par 75 to close the tournament. She finished with 32 pars, the eighth-most in the field, and ranked tied for second in par-3 scoring at just one-over par across the tournament. Smith also recorded four birdies during the event.

Arantza Zepeda finished just behind Smith in 11th place, carding a 16-over-par 232. Like her teammates, Zepeda produced her strongest round on the final day, shooting a two-over-par 74 to help fuel Rockhurst's record-breaking team performance. Zepeda was one of the most consistent players in the field, recording 35 pars across 54 holes, the third-highest total among all competitors. She also ranked tied for seventh in par-4 scoring, finishing six-over par on those holes.

Freshman Romina Sanchez added a top-20 finish for the Hawks, placing 20th overall at 27-over par with a three-round total of 243. Sanchez improved as the tournament progressed, shooting an eight-over-par 80 in the second round before closing with a five-over-par 77 on Tuesday. She finished the tournament with five birdies and 26 pars, contributing to Rockhurst's strong showing throughout the lineup.

Ella Green rounded out Rockhurst's five-player lineup, finishing at 31-over par with a 54-hole total of 247. Green contributed 27 pars and two birdies during the tournament, helping the Hawks maintain their consistency across all three rounds.

As a team, Rockhurst capped its historic tournament by breaking the program's single-round scoring record with a 296 in Tuesday's final round, surpassing the previous mark of 303 by seven strokes. The Hawks improved in each round, opening with a 313 (+25) before shooting a 315 (+27) in the second round and finishing with the record-setting 296 (+8).

The Hawks totaled 26 birdies and 148 pars across the tournament, tying for second in the field in birdies and ranking second in total pars. Rockhurst also ranked second in par-3 scoring at 19-over par and tied for second in par-4 scoring at 58-over par.
