Women's Golf Head to Illinois for Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament

10/19/2026 12:46:00 PM

The Rockhurst women's golf team returns to action Monday (Oct. 19) and Tuesday (Oct. 20) as the Hawks travel to Lebanon, Illinois, to compete in the Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament, hosted by McKendree University at Fair Oaks Golf Club.

Rockhurst enters the two-day tournament following an 11th-place finish at the Battle for the Belt in Hot Springs, Arkansas, last week. The Hawks recorded rounds of 313, 308 and 336 to finish with a three-round total of 957 (+93) against a 13-team field.

Audrey Smith led Rockhurst at the Battle for the Belt, finishing at 19-over par. Smith highlighted her performance with an even-par second round, the lowest individual round by a Hawk during the tournament. She totaled five birdies and 30 pars across 54 holes while tying for fifth in the field in par-3 scoring at 2-over par.

The Hawks' projected lineup for the Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament features Arantza Zepeda, Smith, Marley Dunham, Ella Green and Romina Sanchez. Kendall Stone is also expected to compete as an individual.

Rockhurst will look to build on its second-round performance from last week's tournament as the Hawks continue their fall schedule in Illinois.
