Nine Hawks named to NABC Honors Court

The Hawks earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award

Nine members of the Rockhurst University men's basketball team were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court. The Hawks also earned the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

The Hawks who earned the award are Davit Abuladze (Jr., Corporate Accounting), Nick Arensberg (Grad., MBA), Daniel Carr (Grad., MBA), Tyler DeGroote (Jr., Mechanical Engineering), Jaden Flournoy (Jr., Kinesiology), Arol Kacuol (Sr., Criminal Justice), Rron Thaci (Sr., Exercise Science), Jaylen Wesley (Jr., Health Science), and Jesse White (Grad., MBA).

Rockhurst is one of seven GLVC schools to receive the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award. The Hawks ranked second in the GLVC with their nine Honors Court honorees, one less than William Jewell.
