Third-seeded Hawks face UIndy in GLVC semifinals

Rockhurst returns to the GLVC Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament for the fourth time in five years. The third-seeded Hawks (13-3) will face second-seeded Indianapolis (12-5) in the semifinals at 3 p.m. Friday at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Hawks posted a 13-9 win at McKendree on Sunday to finish third in the GLVC with a 5-2 conference record. Seventh-ranked Indianapolis went 6-1 in GLVC play. The Greyhounds won their earlier meeting at Rockhurst, 15-5, on April 17.

Maryville (16-1) will play fourth-seeded Missouri Western (9-7) in the first semifinal game at noon Friday. The Championship match will take place on Sunday, May 4 at 11 a.m.

Tickets can be purchased on site at $10 for adults and $5 for students (with ID).
