Distance runners lead Hawks at the Kansas Relays

Lucas Boyer broke the school record in the 400 meters

The Rockhurst men's track and field team collected seven top 20 finishes at the Kansas Relays this weekend in Lawrence, Kansas.

Colby Goddard finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 10:21.19. Noah Britton came in seventh in the 800 meters (1:57.25).

Sam Rosenberg, Max Hertenstein and Colton Ellingsworth each placed in the top 20 in the 5000 meters.

Lucas Boyer broke the school record in the 400 meters (48.46). Nick Marchetti broke his own school record in the 400 hurdles (55.46).

Cole Erusha came in 11th in the long jump (6.69 meters). The 4x100 relay came in sixth place.
