The Rockhurst men's track and field team posted eight top eight finishes at the UCM Kip and Kirk Outdoor Mule Relays on April 9-10 in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Martin Barno and Nick Marchetti came in third and fourth in the 110 hurdles, respectively. Barno broke the school record in the prelims of the 110 hurdles (14.89) and Marchetti finished second in the 400 hurdles in a school-record time of 54.58.

The 400 hurdles quartet of Marchetti, Lucas Orviz, JoManuel Ayala and Josiah Gossenauer currently ranks 20th in Division II, which is the highest ever ranking for a Rockhurst track and field squad.

The 4x100 relay team of Cole Erusha, Ash Skeels, Myles Jackson and Bryan Lane came in fifth place in a time of 41.73.

Elijah Thompson placed sixth in the 1,500 Open (4:03.48) and eighth in the 800 Open (1:56.90).

Braden Belk finished sixth in the 800 Open (1:56.86) and Andrew Hartegan finished seventh in the 3,000 steeplechase (9:38.35).
