The Rockhurst men's track and field team broke five school record while finishing in sixth place at the Spire Distance Carnival at the University of Saint Mary Saturday in Leavenworth, Kansas.

Nick Marchetti broke two school records while winning the 400 hurdles and placing third in the 100 hurdles.

Noah Britton broke the school record with a third-place finish in the 800 meters in a time of 1:53.20. Elijah Thompson came in 14th place in the 1,500 in a school-record time of 4:00.06.

Cole Erusha placed third in the long jump with a school-record jump of 23-6.
