Rockhurst's Brian Hawthorne has earned postseason honors from the Great Lakes Valley Conference, as the league office announced the Men's Basketball postseason awards on Wednesday (March 5).

Hawthorne earned All-GLVC First Team honors. The 6-1 guard from Shawnee, Kansas ranks fourth in steals (1.7 per game) and assists (4.4 pg), 15th in points (15.0 pg) and 17th in rebounds (5.5 pg) in the GLVC. He had a career-high 32 points against Lewis on Jan. 25.

This is the second-straight season that Hawthorne has received GLVC postseason honors, as he was named to the All-GLVC Freshman Team last season.

Guard Nico Felici was named as Rockhurst's GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honoree.
