Three Hawks receive Academic All-District honors

The Rockhurst men's basketball team placed three student-athletes on the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team.

Nick Arensberg earned his third Academic All-District® honor, while Daniel Carr and Jaylen Wesley are first-year Academic All-District® honorees.

Arensberg, a graduate student from Leawood, Kansas, averaged 8.8 points and 2.8 rebounds while starting 25 games.

Carr, a graduate student forward from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, led the GLVC in rebounding (9.3 pg) while averaging 9.4 points per game.

Wesley, a junior guard from Phoenix, Arizona, ranked 12th in scoring (15.3 pg), 13th in rebounding (6.1 pg) and seventh in steals (1.5 pg) in the GLVC.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15.
