Pyle headlines three Hawks on All-GLVC Teams

Sarah Pyle headlines three Hawks who earned All-GLVC honors
Senior outside hitter Sarah Pyle headlines three Hawks on the 2025 All-GLVC Women's Volleyball awards list, as announced by the conference Thursday night.

Pyle was named to the All-GLVC First Team for the first time in her career and collected her third straight All-GLVC selection. Overall, Pyle ranks second in the GLVC with 413 kills and 481 points, while in conference play she ranks fifth in kills (193) and points (218.5).

Earlier this season, Pyle became the 11th Hawk in program history to record 1,000 or more kills in her career and just the fifth to record 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs. She was named GLVC/Athletic Solutions Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 22 and Oct. 6.

Joining Pyle on the All-GLVC First Team is sophomore middle hitter Delaney Hope, earning All-GLVC honors for the first time. Hope leads the league in hitting percentage during conference play (.402) and overall (.394). She is also tied for eighth in blocks (50) during GLVC play and tied for fifth overall (111).

Junior setter Molly Trachta earned All-GLVC Second Team honors, picking up her first All-GLVC honor. She is eighth in assists (281) and ninth in service aces (17) during conference play. Overall, Trachta ranks ninth in the GLVC in assists (654) and was named GLVC/Athletic Solutions Setter of the Week on Sept. 22.

William Jewell earned the sport's GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Team Award, while 14 student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior were also recognized. These individuals must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. The honorees from full-time GLVC member institutions are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year. The Rockhurst honoree was Carly Rolf.
