Rockhurst is picked fourth in GLVC Preseason Poll

The Rockhurst men's basketball team has been picked to finish fourth in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Preseason Poll. The annual GLVC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll was voted on by the league coaches and ranks all 15 teams in predicted order of finish.

Rockhurst is coming off a 17-12 season under first-year head coach Kyle Blackbourn. The Hawks return nine players from last year's squad, including starting guard Jaylen Wesley, who led the team with a 15.3 scoring average.

The Hawks open the 2025-26 season on Nov. 14 against Davenport University in the GLVC/GLIAC Challenge in Liberty, Missouri. Rockhurst's home and conference opener is Nov. 29 against Truman State at 2 p.m. at Mason-Halpin Field House.
