Hartegan leads distance team at Washburn meet

Andrew Hartegan placed 19th in the 3000 meters in 8:53.79
The Rockhurst men's track and field team returned to its first indoor action in January at the Washburn Rust Buster on Friday in Topeka, Kansas.
  
In the sprints, Lucas Boyer finished 13th in the 400 meters in 50:37 and Bryan Lane came in 23rd in the 60 meters in 7.03.
 
Andrew Hartegan led in the distance races with a 19th place finish in the 3000 meters with a personal best 8:53.79. Sam Rosenberg placed 23rd in the 3000 meters with a personal best 8:56.46. Noah Britton came in 13th in the 800 meters in 1:58.38, while Colton Ellingsworth placed 28th in the mile run in 4:34.80.

In the field events, Spencer Engle came in seventh in the high jump, Cole Erusha placed seventh in the triple jump and Myle Jackson finished 13th in the long jump.
