Rockhurst Men's Basketball returns to Mason-Halpin Field House this week as they face Indianapolis on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Illinois Springfield Saturday at 2 p.m.

Last week, Rockhurst (11-4, 5-2 GLVC) split their St. Louis road trip. A late 26-8 rally fell short as Rockhurst fell to Maryville, 82-79 last Thursday evening. Rockhurst used a 5-0 run and a 10-2 run on the way to a 59-point second half that led to an 88-71 victory over Missouri-St. Louis. Five Hawks reached double figures in points against the Tritons, including Jesse White (27), Brian Hawthorne (20), Nick Arensberg (17), Daniel Carr (11) and Jaylen Wesley (10).

UIndy (9-6, 3-4 GLVC) defeated Quincy 86-78 last Thursday evening, but fell 93-76 to Upper Iowa last Saturday. Before the loss to the Peacocks, the Greyhounds were on a six-game winning streak.

Rockhurst trails UIndy 15-5 in the all-time series dating back to Jan. 14, 2006, and the Greyhounds are on a three-game winning streak against Rockhurst. In their most recent matchup, UIndy won 89-74 on Feb. 24, 2024 in Indianapolis.

Illinois Springfield (7-8, 2-5 GLVC) defeated Truman State 67-55 last Thursday evening, but fell to Quincy 83-78 last Saturday. The Prairie Stars are at Southwest Baptist on Thursday evening before facing Rockhurst on Saturday.

Overall, Rockhurst is 11-8 against Illinois Springfield, but the Prairie Stars have won the last two. On Feb. 3, 2024 at Springfield, Rockhurst fell 92-69 in their last matchup with the Prairie Stars.
