Sprinters lead Hawks at UCM's Mule Relays

Paige Pistono ran the first leg on the Hawks' 4x400 relay

The Rockhurst women's track and field team competed at Central Missouri's Mule Relays Friday in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Paige Pistono, Jillian Vaughn, Alexis O'Mara and Mia Ryan ran on the Hawks' 4x400 relay, which came in 10th place.

Riley Jahner came in 33rd in the 100 and 36th in the 200. Paige Pistono finished 38th in the 100 and 27th in the 200.

Corina Sisk and Kylie Hunter placed 17th and 18th in the 400 meters. Mia Ryan placed 21st in the 400-meter hurdles and 16th in long jump.

I'yana Foster, O'Mara and Annalynn Earley placed 29th, 31st and 33rd in the 800 meters. Jillian Vaughn and Grace Kaiser placed 24th and 31st in the 5000.
