Hawks break four school records at ESU Relays

Laney Parmeley broke the school record in the 5000 meters
The Rockhurst women's track and field team finished in 14th place with 12 points at the Emporia State Relays Saturday in Emporia, Kansas.

Alexis Borum placed seventh in the 1500 in 5:00.48 and finished 10th in the 800 in a school record time of 2:25.14.

Laney Parmeley broke the school record and came in seventh in the 5000 meters in 19:10.19. She also placed 10th in the 1500 with a personal best of 5:05.01.

Leah Heck recorded school records in the 100 meters (12.73) and 200 meters (26.76). The 4x400 relay came in seventh and broke the school record.

Grace Kaiser and Bella Wiltfong came in sixth and seventh in the 3000-meter steeplechase, respectively.
