Women break seven school records at GLVC meet

The Rockhurst women's track and field team broke seven school record while tying for 11th place with seven points at the GLVC Outdoor Track and Field Championship Saturday in Romeoville, Illinois.

Leah Heck broke the school record in the triple jump with a fourth-place finish (37-11.25).

Laney Parmeley finished eighth in the 10,000 meters in a school-record time of 38:48.52. Grace Kaiser broke the school record and came in 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (12:10.67).

The 4x400 relay with Leah Heck, Ellie Beck, Alexis O'Mara and Theresa Berger placed eighth and broke the school record with a 4:06.13 time.
