Hawks' men face road tests at Lewis, UIndy

The Rockhurst men's basketball team wraps up its road schedule this weekend at Lewis (tonight at 7:30) and at Indianapolis (Saturday at 3 p.m. local time).

The Hawks (12-12, 8-8 GLVC) is currently ninth in the GLVC Point Rating System after falling at Jewell last Saturday. Sophomore forward Timaris Brown ranks ninth in scoring (15.7) and 10th in rebounding (6.5) in the GLVC.

Lewis (13-11, 9-7 GLVC) has dropped four of its six games. Senior guard Beau Frericks ranks seventh in the GLVC with a 16.3 scoring average.

The Hawks won earlier this season at Rockhurst, 94-72. Lewis leads the all-time series, 15-6.

Indianapolis (17-7, 13-3 GLVC) is in first place in the GLVC Point Rating System. Senior guard Jesse Bingham ranks 10th in the GLVC with a 15.0 scoring average.

The Greyhounds won earlier this season at Rockhurst, 72-48. Indianapolis leads the all-time series, 14-6.
