Hawks renew KC Crown rivalry at Jewell

The Rockhurst men's basketball team travels up I-35 to meet William Jewell for a valuable point in the KC Crown standings at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Mabee Center in Liberty, Missouri.

The Hawks (12-11, 8-7 GLVC) sits ninth in the GLVC Point Rating System after winning two games at home last week. Timaris Brown ranks in the top 10 in scoring (15.9) and rebounding (6.4) in the GLVC.

William Jewell (15-8, 9-6 GLVC) is riding a three-game winning streak. Senior guard Jordan Jermain ranks fourth in the GLVC with a 17.1 scoring average.

The Cardinals won earlier this season at Rockhurst, 84-79, on Dec. 9. Rockhurst leads the all-time series, 91-70.
