Hawks open two-game road trip at Quincy

The Rockhurst men's basketball team travels to Illinois this week for a pair of important conference games. The Hawks play Quincy tonight at 7:30 and meet Illinois Springfield on Saturday at 3 p.m.

Rockhurst (9-10, 5-6 GLVC) defeated Quincy, 80-66, earlier this season in Kansas City. The Hawks rank eighth in the GLVC Point Rating System after splitting two games at home last week.

Quincy (10-9, 5-6 GLVC) has dropped three of its last four games. Senior guard Zion Richardson ranks sixth in scoring (16.2 pg) and fifth in rebounding (6.8 pg) in the GLVC.

Illinois Springfield (14-7, 7-4 GLVC) has won three of its last five games. Junior guard Jordan Rice ranks 10th in scoring (15.4) and third in assists (4.9) in the GLVC.
