Men open season at Northwest Missouri meet

Bryan Lane broke the school record in the 60 meters

The Rockhurst men's track and field team opened the 2024-25 season at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic Saturday in Maryville, Missouri. Bryan Lane (60 meters), Lucas Boyer (400) and Noah Britton (800) broke school records for the Hawks.

60-Meter Hurdles: Josiah Gossenauer, 4th, 8.89

60 Meters: Bryan Lane, 2nd, 6.96 (school record)

300 Meters: Ethan Beach, 9th, 36.08; Myles Jackson, 10th, 36.25; JoManuel Ayala, 11th, 36.32.

400 Meters: Lucas Boyer, 4th, 50.45 (school record)

800 Meters: Noah Britton, 5th, 1:54.21 (school record)
