Four Hawks scored in double figures against Southern, including Jesse White and Daniel Carr who each had 21 points, Jaden Flournoy recorded 12 points and Jaylen Wesley added 11. The Hawks scored over 50 points in both halves against the Lions, including 56 in the first half on 58.3 percent (21-of-36) shooting from the field.

Truman State (3-1) defeated Northeastern State, 90-87, last Wednesday. The Bulldogs begin conference play against the Hawks on a two-game winning streak, as they also won against Emporia State on Nov. 13.

While Truman State leads the all-time series 31-20, the Hawks are currently on a three-game winning streak against the Bulldogs and have won four of the last five.
