Conference play resumes with RU hosting Quincy

Timaris Brown leads the Hawks in scoring and rebounding

Conference play resumes for the Rockhurst men this week, beginning tonight at home against Quincy at 7:30 pm. The Hawks will then turn around and travel to Drury on Saturday for a 3 p.m. tipoff.

The Hawks (5-6, 1-2 GLVC) are led by sophomore forward Timaris Brown, who ranks 17th in scoring (13.5 pg) and 13th in rebounding (5.7 pg) in the GLVC.

Quincy (7-5, 2-2 GLVC) is coming off a 66-55 win over Wayne State on Dec. 17. Senior guard Zion Richardson leads the QU Hawks in scoring (14.3 pg) and rebounding (5.1 pg).

The leading scorer for Drury (7-4, 0-3 GLVC) is freshman forward Juok Riak, who is averaging 15.0 points per game. The Panthers posted a 72-68 victory over Southern Arkansas on Dec. 19.
